Bring the coming out story of Kiki Archer back to light

October 11 is synonymous with National Coming Out Day in North America and the United Kingdom since 1988. The lesbian author Kiki Archer took the opportunity to tell her personal story and expose one of the possible paths to unconditional self-acceptance. It’s always inspiring to hear a woman speaks so frankly about her past, a fortiori when she grew up in a religious family. In this video, Kiki takes us into her childhood and adolescence; she tries to explain why she struggled to accept her homosexuality and highlights the various signs that helped her to come out of the closet. I came across this channel quite late, but as her words will have a timeless impact, I thought it was a story worth sharing despite the current date.
