The Handmaiden (2016) lesbian movie

The Handmaiden is a Korean adaptation of Sarah Waters’ novel called Fingersmith (the BBC also made a film of this story). Orginally set in Victorian Era Britain, Park Chan-Wook’s film faithfully revisits the plot of a psychological thriller unique in it’s genre, only to magnify its eroticism. In Korea 30s, during the Japanese colonization, a young woman named Sookee is hired as a maid for Hideko, a rich Japanese woman who recently inherited a fortune. She is now leading a secluded life in a huge mansion under the thumb of a tyrannical uncle. While Sookee is gradually becoming a trusted family member, she actually hides a secret which increasingly becomes heavy to keep. Indeed, with the help of a scammer posing as a noble count, she is preparing a shameful plan against Hideko but circumstances will mingle with the perfect ploy. In an atmosphere of betrayals and permanent sexual tensions, the protagonists are constantly trying to fool each other and espace their social condition but they are always caught up in intoxication of dominance, power of seduction and reality of their feelings. Sook-Hee and Lady Hideko are potrayed by Kim Tae-ri and Min-hee Kim. Note: the film will be released in cinemas late October in the United States and early November in Europe. Playlist includes the trailer and a fanmade.

    Hi Emma,

I been visiting your website for a while now. I guess now it’s time to express my gratitude directly. I Just finished watching this Korean version of Fingersmith. Although it’s a psychological drama, the BBC version is more gentle, uncontroversial, and touching. Whereas the Korean version is amplified in everything. Cinematography, scenes, eroticism, love scene, violence…. everything amplified!!! I always thought the love scenes could have been better in BBC version and Korean version takes it more than anyone ask for. Thanks for sharing the trailer otherwise I wouldn’t have get to see it. Also, I watched another excellent show, The Tunnel season 2 because of you 😉

After whole week of tiredness I reboot myself with the videos you post here.
Thank you so much for this website. You are doing a wonderful job.

Hi Emma. Thank you for the great site. I can find lots of movies to watch . In fact I was totally inticed by your site to look for movies online. I don’t have that money to own or go to the movies. And i think more women do this. A lot of sites are untrusty. But I’ve found one lesbian guided too. [hidden link] Yes, the handmaiden.
