Take My Wife, Seeso Original Series

Take My Wife is a comedy-drama series created by two gay comedians named Rhea Butcher and Cameron Esposito, which are also married in real life. It tells the story of a young lesbian couple as elements of their domestic life intersect with the underground standup showcase they co-host. They try somehow to find a balance between work and relationship by diluting their daily struggles in sketches and using their stand-up routine as a couple therapy. The protagonists of Take My Wife are actually portrayed by the writters. The first episode of the show is available in its entirety on Seeso youtube channel. Note: you need to subscribe to Seeso’s platform to watch the rest of the season.
