A Village Affair (1995) Lesbian Movie

Alice is a young mother stucked in a boring marriage with Martin, a wealthy entrepreneur who recently moved in a small village of Englandwith his family. There, Alice meet Clodagh, a rich and independant woman who represents everything she always wanted to be. She is free and respectable, and she develops a clear penchant for women’s charm. Sophie Ward and Kerry Fox will slowly seduce each other and succumb to a forbidden desire that will change their lives. A Village Affair is an adaptation of Joanna Trollope’s best-selling book telling the unavowable love between a mother and a heiress. The acting is wonderful and very realistic. The story nicely depicts power of love but also its most devastating facet.
